Jesus Christ told us to ask the Father for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In heaven, the will of our Father is known and done to the minute details. This is what Christ is telling us to ask our King. However, for His will to be done on earth, His will must be known on earth. For His will to be known on earth, He must speak it to us. For Him to speak with us, we must be in communication with Him. To be in communication with Him, we must take time to listen to Him so that He may reveal His will to us.

Can you see how this is a chain? If broken, we cannot get to the end result, which is doing His will on earth as it is in heaven.

This is why prayer and fasting is important, and imperative to do it God’s way if you really want to know the will of God for everything like your health, your marriage, your business, your children, your purpose, your community, elections, etc…

I am a living proof of what prayer and fasting can do.

When I was about 16 years old I started thinking about my future. I felt lost and anxious. So I prayed and fasted for 3 full days.

During that time, God gave me a revelation of His purpose for me. He gave me a glimpse of my future. In that revelation I was speaking to a large crowd, delivering a message that helped them discover the power God has given them. As a result, they started taking action, doing powerful and impactful things.

A few months later, I was unanimously elected the President of a youth association that had a mission to empower young people, even though there were others older than me in the association.

A few years later they started giving me charge at a local church. I sat on the board of Elders for many years, and at some point I was in charge of the congregation without a formal pastor for one year, then with a pastor for the following two years.

All this happened before I turned 32 years old. And the past 3 years have been even more amazing and more powerful!

Fast forward to now, my wife and I impact thousands of lives through our businesses.

That glimpse of my future keeps me on track. It helped me to be disciplined in my life in order to see it come to life. It guided me in choosing my wife, and in business.

I can also share with you when we have a rough time in our marriage, and my wife and I fasted for 3 days then God showed us exactly what each of us needed to do. It’s been good since!
